Queen Elizabeth is famously known for many things in her life, but one of the biggest accomplishments that lives on today is the London Stock Exchange. The economy was in ruin for many years prior to her reign, the population was expanding fast, and the harvest was very unsuccessful. The Stock Exchange was founded in 1801 and now is one of the largest in the world. The Stock exchange made trade with other countries and overseas easy and accessible. She also brought the currency up and she did all of this and more in her 45 year reign. She launched England’s economy forward and prepared it for Globalization that we are facing today.
